##**Oaxen Krog** A two-star wine cellar

#####**After a total of twenty-seven years, Oaxen Krog has served its last guests and the restaurant's extensive wine cellar will therefore be sold at auction.**

#####The owners of the restaurant, Magnus Ek and Agneta Green, are some of the pioneers behind the New Nordic cuisine. Among other things, they have received attention for their early focus on locally produced produce and aim for more sustainable development. The move from the small island of Oaxen outside Mörkö to Djurgården in Stockholm in 2013 provided an opportunity for a new venture. It was recognized by the well-respected Guide Michelin, who awarded the restaurant one star in 2014, followed by a second star the following year. Together with several Swedish sommeliers, Agneta has built a deep wine cellar with a focus on producers who have a similar philosophy to the restaurant. It consists of classics and rarities from Europe in general and France in particular. Here there are several verticals of wines from both more and less well-known producers. The collection has been stored in its entirety in the restaurant's temperate wine cellar.
