A late Baroque / early Rococo chair, Stockholm, mid-18th Century.
Painted in blue. Baluster-shaped backres. Carved decoration of a crowning shell formation. Upholstered seat with black textile covering. Contour-sawn lower rail with carved decoration of a shell, slightly curved, joined legs, of which the front ones with leaf ornamentation. Seat height 44, width 64, height 101 cm.
