Stamped 1880 and 1881. JAJS, Holland, Son & Slater (John Aldwinckle & James Slater). Beaker engraved Elkington & Co, Silversmiths, 22 Regent st. London. Fitted box 1878. Weight ca 307 gram.
Tarnished. Wear due to age and use. Later engraving.
Provenance
According to the inscription a christening gift from the Prince of Wales, later to be crowned Edward VII (1841-1910).
