ELIEL SAARINEN, A pair of chairs, Adelta, Finland 1980s. Model designed in 1929-1930 for the Saarinen House, Cranbrook.
Natural and black lacquered birch. Padded, upholstered seat. Marked "Cranbrook 1929-30 Saarinen House, Side Chair, Made in Finland by Adelta oy", numbered. Height to seat 45 cm, total height 95 cm.
Later upholstery.
