Marked "Newton's new and improved celestial globe ... to the beginning of the Year 1820" and "Published 1.st July 1820 by J & W. Newton, Chancery Lane, LONDON."
The diameter of the globe 30/ 42 cm. Turned, black lacquered wooden legs. Height 48 cm.
Wear due to age and use. Damage at the poles, dents in the brass circle on the top. Stand with partial loss of paint.
