Stoneware bowl with a glossy glaze in beige and brown shades, signed Arne R. Diameter 13 cm. Earthenware vase with painted eye decoration, unsigned. Height 12 cm. Stoneware jug with speckled glaze in brown, stamped Fulby. Height 21 cm.

Minor wear. Uneven crazing. Firing cracks.

Designer

Arne Ranslet was a Danish ceramist and sculptor. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen from 1951 to 1954. Ranslet established his pottery workshop on the island of Bornholm in 1955. Gradually, Ranslet began to work more with sculpture, sometimes in bronze. He moved to Spain in 1988. Ranslet's work is represented in Danish, Swedish, and German museums.
