An Empire mantle clock, France, mid/first half of the 20th century.

Portico-shaped, of marble with mounts of gilded bronze and brass. White enameled dial with Roman numerals, flanked by pairs of griffins, with a crowning bouquet of flowers and a hanging drapery. The pilasters with caryatids. Pendulum with Jupiter's eagle. Width 32, height 53 cm.

Function not tested. Not thoroughly examined. Loose parts. Stains. Chips. Some wear. The dial with cracks and a retouched damage. Keys included.
