The auction also includes several Oriental carpets from the collection of Lennart Heymans (1918–1974). Heymans was a recognised expert and collector, specialising in Oriental carpets and antiques. Over the course of his career, he was commissioned as an appraiser both in Sweden and internationally, including by prestigious auction houses such as Sotheby’s and Christie’s in London.
